Guys!!!
Top story today is that i have resigned from my job which means that i will be working till 15th April 2007 and then will be free as a bird (in my case: without wings & money!) :-)
I am sending the letter today. Tomorrow i have a day off and lets see how does my boss and the head reacts to it because i pin pointed some issues of corruption in my resignation which are certainly mind blowing ;-)
Secondly, I dunno if i will be flying to Paris on the 4th May 2007 or not but if there is nothing important going on, i will make sure i do so....
About a few last days:
I was last weekend in Vienna for work. I wrote to an Austrian couple called Peter & Anna. I knew them from Hospitality Club & Couch Surfing and stayed at their place while i was travelling there 2 yrs back. Peter picked me up as soon as i arrived in Vienna on Saturday evening. He took me on his motorbike to his place. Jesus christ! never sit with him on a bike because he won bother to reduce to the speed on any crossing if he sees that its green even if there are narrow lanes where u can't see on the other two side if any drunk is coming towards you or not.
Anyways, we made to his place where Anna, his wife, welcomed us. There was another couchsurfer from Finland staying his place. Later we were joined by Yu Lei, a chinese american cser girl and Markus, a hilarious austrian guy with one of the most intelligent brains i have ever found! I must say the evening was cheerful because of him. He has got a good sense of humour. Anna cooked a delicious lasagne for all of us and we had great fun talking, making photos and later on the dinner table.
Around 11.30pm: Markus, Yu Lei & I left Peter, Anna and the Finnish CSer and went to another CSer's birthday party where there were about 15-20 CSers! I was shocked with pleasure. In the start, even me being so social and confident had trouble to get into the crowd because i didnt know ^how and where to begin with. So many faces and so many little groups. Yu Lei's company was certainly helpful. She sat down with some girls and asked me to sit across her. Lucky me as i got a seat right in between some of the hottest and nicest looking girls there ;-) but you see it takes much more to impress 'Me'!!!
I started drinking and also got a bit drunk... i realised that its just me and Yu Lei who are talking and the 3 Austrian girls are just the listeners. So, we tried to shut up and one by one gave them a chance to talk. I was UTTERLY surprised to know that the innocent looking girls are ALL COMPUTER SCIENTISTS and one of them who looked like a teenie was doing her 'PhD' - Shocker!!! ;-))) Anyways, the party went on... Markus was amusing people and there was another completely pissed CSer Pawel who was originally from Poland but living in Vienna from a few years who drank and drank till 6.am.... he reminded me of Borat ;-)))) I laughed and laughed until i was rolling on the floor (not literally but about to ;-) )
Finally, people started leaving. From my table's group only me & Daniela were left. She is a nice girl from Vienna. She was also a bit drunk like me and we had a good time together. She loves psychology and we both drunk were trying our hypothesis on Yu Lei who was talking to some Austrian guys... hahaha...
Finally, at 6am me and Dani left and we walked in the chilly morning hours to tram station where our tram came earlier than expected. Luckily she had to go în the same direction as me so we took the tram together. I was super tired and fell asleep but she was kind enough to keep awake and she woke me up as soon as my stop came. I thanked and left her before checking into my room in Ibis Hotel where i slept for abour 2 hrs as i had to catch the train back to Zürich. Everything went well and i arrived back EXRTEMELY TIRED and sleepless at home and slept for 10 hrs until i had to go to work again :-)
That's it guys! Nothing else.... btw, we are having great spring weather here... Come and lets party! oh yes btw, there are som hot parties this weekend in Zürich as it is a long Easter Weekend. I am for sure going out which already implies that there will be lots of stories on Monday :P So, wait until Monday or Tuesday night ;-)))
